Motivation behind the event

Hello! My name is Liz Hinckley. I am an 18 year old Senior in high school who participates in cross country and track. I am also a 13 year Girl Scout! I am holding this 5k for my Girl Scout Gold award; which is the highest award possible to earn in Girl Scouting . I have combined my love of running and my love of Girl Scouts to come up with this event. My events goal is to raise awareness for reckless driving in the community.
